Hainan Provincial China International Travel Service (HPCITS) is a national grade A travel agency, a member of International Travel Group, China Council of Tourism and China Association of Domestic Tourism. It is a backbone tourist enterprise. HPCITS is mainly engaged in inviting, organizing and receiving tourist groups of foreigners, overseas Chinese, compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to China for sightseeing and visit, as well as domestic tourist groups; organizing Chinese citizens  to Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries in the world for sightseeing and visit; acting for international and domestic airlines in ticket service handling entry and transit visa on commission; helping individual guests in meeting and seeing off,reserving room, booking tickets for air,sea and bus; undertaking commercial and international conferences; managing diving, motorcycling, self-driving and tourist motorcade; running tourist trade, development and training. HPCITS has qualified executives and a group of guides in English, Japanese, French, German and various dialects. It offers all kinds of quality services for tourists. In recent years, HPCITS has been listed first in three of eight economic indexes for travel agencies of Hainan Province, namely operating income,gross profit and tourist profit. In the examination of eight economic 
indexes for 100 travel agencies of China by the National Tourism Administration, HPCITS is among the best in six indexes. It was also awarded the title of " Advanced Collective Diligent and Honest in Administration" by the Working Committee of Governmental Authorities of Hainan Province and " Advanced Collective of 1995 China Customs Tourists' Year" by the National Tourism Administration and Customs General Administration of China as well as appointed the sample tourist unit for Hainan Province by Hainan Provincial Tourism Administration.
