Turn-round-deer Park

The Turn-round-deer Park lies in the south of Sanya City, 3 kilometres away from the urban areas and it is a world famous winter and summer  resort. There is a beautiful and moving story about it. Long long ago, there was  a hardworking and brave young man of Li nationality. He held his bow and arrow to chase after a mountain deer. He chased for nine days and nine nights and climbed over ninety-nine hills till he reached a bay on the most southern part. The mountain deer, facing the blue waves, with no way ahead, turned its head suddenly and changed to a beautiful girl of Li nationality. She walked to the young man with love  in her eyes, and showed her honest love to him. Then they married each other. Today, there is a huge stone sculpture named "Turn-round-deer" here, with magnificent style and deep connotation. Sanya City gets its name of "Deer City" because of this. In the park, green trees grow flourishing and the environment is quiet and secluded. If you come to the  place in which the hunter and the deer girl loved each other and remind the moving love  story of "Turn-round-deer", you may never forget it.  The Turn-round-deer Park is the only and best place for overlooking the whole city of  Sanya. At hight, you may enjoy the whole Luhuitou (Turn-round-deer) Seashore and the  no-night city of Sanya.
