Yalong Bay

Yalong Bay National Holiday Resort is located in the Yalong Bay, 30 kilometres away to Sanya City. In 1992, it was approved by the State Council of China as a state-level area for tourism and holiday. It enjoys the name of "the No.1 bay in the world". The sea visibility is about 7-9 metres and the sand land is just like a white strip surrounding the bay. Within the bay, the waves are flat with no wind and the seawater is blue.

     Yalong Bay enjoys the typical tropical monsoon sea climate of low latitude, with long summer and no winter. Yalong Bay has been built into a comprehensive and multi-functional tourism resort that includes facilities of a central square, a butteerfly park, a sea shell museum and a 5-star hotel Gloria Resort Hotel.

     Great East Sea lies in the southeast of Sanya City, 2 kilometers away from the urban areas. It is a rare resort for winter swimming. Here, the seawater is flat with no wind, blue and clear; the sea sand is clean and soft, flat and comfortable; the sunshine is warm and the climate is delightful. When the north is with snow and ice, the temperature of Great East Sea is about 20℃ and it is really a best place for winter swimming ,eliminating coldness and spending holidays.
